Stagecoach has put its 2027 festival passes on sale behind a lineup that stretches from Garth Brooks and Willie Nelson to Pitbull and Journey, while giving Florida Georgia Line its first officially announced festival performance since reuniting.
Riley Green, Zach Top and Brooks will headline the three nights of the festival, which returns to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, from April 23rd through 25th. Florida Georgia Line will reunite for a special late-night performance, with Kelly Clarkson, HARDY, Shaboozey, Brothers Osborne, Carín León, Matchbox Twenty, Tedeschi Trucks Band and dozens more spread across the weekend.
The official Stagecoach lineup confirms more than 50 artists for the 2027 edition. Goldenvoice unveiled the bill September 14th before opening the general pass sale September 18th at 11 a.m. PT.
The lineup pushes Stagecoach’s increasingly broad definition of a country festival in several directions at once. Two younger country artists move into headline slots, Brooks supplies stadium-country history, Florida Georgia Line turns a reunion into a late-night event, and rock, pop, hip-hop, Latin and dance artists occupy substantial positions elsewhere on the bill.
Riley Green Gets Another Shot at Stagecoach
Friday night belongs to Riley Green, and his promotion to headliner comes with some unfinished business in Indio.
Green was supposed to perform on the Mane Stage at Stagecoach 2026, but severe winds forced a temporary evacuation of the festival grounds. When the site reopened, his set was among the performances removed from the revised schedule.
The Los Angeles Times documented the evacuation and cancellations, which also knocked Journey off the Saturday schedule and pushed Lainey Wilson’s headline set later into the night.
Green now returns one year later at the top of the Friday bill. “Let’s do this again,” he said when the 2027 lineup was announced, referring to the disrupted festival.
The timing also connects Stagecoach to his current album cycle. Green released That’s Just Me on September 18th, the same day Stagecoach passes went on sale, giving the April booking a new body of material rather than making it simply another festival appearance.
Friday’s surrounding lineup includes HARDY, Shaboozey, Brothers Osborne, Charley Crockett, Dylan Gossett, Ingrid Andress and Jo Dee Messina, moving between contemporary country radio, Americana, rootsier songwriting and ’90s country history before Green closes the night.
Zach Top Jumps From Palomino to Headliner
Zach Top’s Saturday booking shows how quickly Stagecoach can move an artist through its own stage hierarchy.
When Top played the festival in 2024, he was appearing in the Palomino tent rather than at the top of the Mane Stage bill. He remembers that performance as one of the first festivals where his audience suddenly looked different from what he had been drawing before.
“We packed out the Palomino stage and I remember feeling like we were really doing something,” Top said in remarks published by Holler. Three years later, he will headline Saturday.
That trajectory gives Stagecoach a booking story beyond simply landing another popular country act. The festival can point to an artist who moved from one of its genre-focused spaces to the top of the poster as his touring and streaming profile grew.
Saturday also contains some of the weekend’s widest stylistic swings. Willie Nelson & Family and Turnpike Troubadours share the day with Journey, David Lee Roth, Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Fray and Melissa Etheridge.
Rather than reading as a tightly defined contemporary-country bill, the day maps music that overlaps with country’s audience: roots rock, classic rock, Americana and guitar-driven artists whose catalogs can sit naturally beside traditional and modern country.
Garth Brooks Returns to Close the Festival
Brooks will take the Sunday headline slot, returning to a festival he previously closed as a headliner in 2018.
His connection to Stagecoach became current again this year. Brooks appeared unexpectedly during Luke Combs’ 2026 closing set and joined him for “Friends in Low Places,” his first appearance at the festival since that 2018 headline performance.
Brooks later described the collaboration as “old school meets new school.” His official recap says the surprise performance took place in front of approximately 85,000 people.
For 2027, the guest appearance becomes a full closing-night booking.
Brooks sits at the opposite end of the career curve from Green and Top. While the first two headliners represent artists moving upward through current country touring, Brooks brings decades of stadium-scale performance and a catalog built for mass sing-alongs.
Sunday surrounds him with another unusually broad group. Kelly Clarkson will make her Stagecoach debut, while Pitbull, Carín León, Matchbox Twenty, Cody Jinks, Gretchen Wilson and Stephen Wilson Jr. are also on the bill.
Clarkson’s presence fits the wider strategy particularly well. Her career has moved between pop, rock, soul and country collaborations, giving Stagecoach another recognizable artist who can reach beyond the festival’s core audience without feeling completely disconnected from it.
Florida Georgia Line Bring the Reunion to Stagecoach
Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley announced an indefinite hiatus in 2022 and spent the following years developing separate solo careers. Their first onstage reunion arrived in March 2026 at CRS, where they performed during a celebration of Jason Aldean.
June brought the larger surprise. Hubbard and Kelley appeared together at CMA Fest’s Nissan Stadium, entering from opposite sides of the venue before performing “Round Here” and “Cruise.” Hubbard later recalled the nervous excitement around the performance, comparing the feeling beforehand to preparing for the Super Bowl.
Stagecoach turns those surprise reunions into an advertised festival set.
“The last time we played Stagecoach was back in 2018, and a whole lot of life has happened since then,” the duo said when the lineup arrived. MusicRow published the statement alongside the festival bill.
That 2018 appearance was not a minor booking. Florida Georgia Line headlined Stagecoach at the height of the duo’s commercial run, years after “Cruise” helped make its mixture of country, pop and hip-hop production one of the defining sounds of mainstream 2010s country.
The 2027 booking puts Hubbard and Kelley somewhere different. They are not returning directly to the top of the main poster. Their reunion instead becomes an after-hours attraction in Late Night on the Mustang Stage.
That placement gives Stagecoach the value of a major reunion while leaving its three headline positions to Green, Top and Brooks.
Late Night Keeps Stretching Beyond Country
Florida Georgia Line will not be alone after the main stages wind down.
Late Night in the Mustang returns with Sean Paul, Florida Georgia Line and Flo Rida, Relix lists.
The three bookings show how deliberately Stagecoach treats late-night programming as a separate lane. Sean Paul brings dancehall and crossover pop, Flo Rida brings a catalog of 2000s and 2010s pop-rap records, while Florida Georgia Line occupies the space between country nostalgia and a genuine reunion event.
Diplo’s HonkyTonk also returns for a fifth year. The dance-focused space has become another mechanism for moving Stagecoach beyond a traditional country-festival schedule without changing what appears at the top of the Mane Stage.
Crossover programming continues throughout the regular lineup. Journey, David Lee Roth, Matchbox Twenty, The Fray and Melissa Etheridge bring different eras of rock. Pitbull and Sean Paul connect the festival to pop and club music, while Colombian star Carín León expands the country-and-roots conversation beyond English-language Nashville.
Stagecoach still identifies itself as California’s Country Music Festival. Its booking strategy increasingly treats country as the center of the weekend rather than a border every performer has to stay inside.
Stagecoach Passes Started at $549
For listeners who will not be in Indio, Amazon Music returns as Stagecoach’s exclusive livestream destination for a fifth consecutive year. MusicRow confirms that performances will again be available through Amazon Music, Prime Video, Twitch and other Amazon platforms.
The in-person lineup became a sales proposition September 18th when passes officially went on sale.
Stagecoach’s pass page lists three-day general admission beginning at $549 for the first tier, with service fees included. A GA and shuttle package started at $669, while six-pack purchases offered a $10-per-pass discount.
Inventory has already moved through some initial pricing. The festival’s current sales page shows later GA tiers at higher prices, following the familiar festival model in which the same basic access becomes more expensive as cheaper allocations disappear.
Payment plans are available, alongside premium seating, camping, RV and transportation packages built around the basic three-day wristband.
The pricing reinforces what Goldenvoice is actually selling. Stagecoach is not one genre-exclusive concert stretched across a weekend. It is a three-day destination where Brooks, Top and Green provide the headline country identity while reunion acts, legacy rock artists, pop stars, dance programming and late-night sets create additional reasons to remain on the grounds.
The 2027 Lineup Uses Country as the Center
Stagecoach does not need Florida Georgia Line to headline for the reunion to matter, nor does it need Pitbull, Journey or Matchbox Twenty to become country acts. Their value comes from expanding the weekend around a core that still includes Brooks, Green, Top, Willie Nelson, HARDY, Brothers Osborne, Shaboozey, Cody Jinks and Turnpike Troubadours.
The official lineup makes the balance unusually visible. Current Nashville success, traditional country, Americana, legacy stars and crossover bookings occupy the same festival without receiving equal billing.
Florida Georgia Line may be the clearest example. Hubbard and Kelley return to a festival they once headlined, but Stagecoach does not have to recreate 2018 to make their 2027 appearance valuable. The reunion itself is the event.
Green and Top move in the opposite direction. Both are being pushed forward rather than brought back, with Top graduating from the Palomino tent and Green returning after weather erased his 2026 set.
Brooks closes the weekend between those ideas, bringing the catalog and stadium history of an artist whose surprise 2026 appearance reminded Stagecoach what his songs can do with a massive crowd.
Stagecoach 2027 is selling nostalgia, momentum and crossover appeal at the same time. Country remains the reason the festival exists. The lineup shows how far Goldenvoice is willing to travel around it.
